JANESVILLE — A Janesville native and longtime member of the Milwaukee Police Department will be buried Tuesday in Janesville after he died unexpectedly March 24 while off-duty.
Jeffrey Sather, 58, was a Janesville native and a 20 year member of the Milwaukee Police Department. He was a part of the Motor Unit for the department.
The Janesville Police Department and Rock County Sheriff’s Department will be assisting the Milwaukee Police Department with the procession to Milton Lawns Memorial Park on Milton Avenue about 2 p.m.
Sather’s Funeral will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, 709 Milton Ave.
Motorists should be prepared for traffic delays on Milton Ave. from Walker Street to Milton Lawns Memorial Park due to the procession during the mid-afternoon.
