JANESVILLE — No one was injured early Saturday when an occupied vehicle parked in a driveway was struck by gunfire. 

Police are now seeking tips from the public to track down the shooter.

The incident happened about 2:30 a.m. when officers were sent to the 1600 block of S. River Rd. for a shots fired complaint. 

Officers recovered spent casings in the area.

Investigators say they have spoken to witnesses and gathered video, identifying persons of interest in the case.

The names are not being released by police because they say this is an active and open investigation.
