A suspected drunken driver faces a fourth OWI charge, along with several other charges, after his pickup crashed into a Janesville home.

JANESVILLE — A suspected drunken driver faces a fourth OWI charge, along with several other charges, after a chase and multiple crashes that ended up with his pickup crashed into a Janesville home.

Chad P Measner, 56, was driving a Ford F150 at th time and also faces a possible charges of first-degree recklessly endangering saftey fleeing an officer and hit-and-run. 

According to a news release, Janesville police first were called to a hit-and-run of an occupied vehicle Thursday evening at the intersection of Delavan Drive and Beloit Avenue.

Police say they found Measner driving east on East Milwaukee, then later caught up with him on Pontiac Drive.

When they attempted to pull Measner over, police say he took off.

That’s when police say they followed Measner who drove through a T intersection at Claremont and Lucerne where he struck a home.

That’s where Measner was taken into custody by police.

The city of Janesville building inspector was brought in to make sure the home was safe and the family was able to stay in their home.
