JANESVILLE — One of Rock County’s iconic supper clubs has announced it will close after 17 years.
Helgesen’s Harpo’s on Highway 11 west of Janesville announced the closure Thursday on its Facebook page.
The owners cited staffing difficulties and health issues are behind the decision.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce our permanent closure,” read the post.
“This decision was not come upon lightly, but with continued staffing trouble, and ongoing health issues, we can no longer provide the quality food and service that we pride ourselves on.
“Thank you doesn’t begin to cover how humbled we are for your continued patronage for the last 17 years! We hope you will remember the amazing times and great food and drinks had with us.
“Thank you for your loyal patronage. We will miss each and everyone of you!”
