JANESVILLE — No one was struck and Janesville police are investigating after receiving reports of gunfire early on New Year’s.
Just after midnight, officers were sent to 1811 Green Forest Run for a report of gun shots being fired, according to a news release.
Evidence of shots being fired were located at the scene, police say.
There were no reports or evidence of anyone being struck by the gunfire. No arrests have been made at this time.
Police say this was an isolated incident that is connected to one of the apartments in the building.
Police say they believe others may be involved in this incident that haven’t been identified yet.
