JANESVILLE — A strong winter system will move north into southern Wisconsin late tonight into Tuesday, bringing heavy snow and gusty winds.

The heaviest snow will occur early Tuesday morning into Tuesday evening.

Accumulations of 4-8 inches are expected throughout Rock County into Walworth County.

A winter storm warning will run from 3 a.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday in Rock County. Walworth County is under a winter storm watch.
