JANESVILLE — Downtown Janesville’s Business Improvement District is seeking someone with the passion and skills to serve as its new director.

The director is expected to represent the organization positively in all communications, facilitate all communications, manage budgets/funding, meet deadlines, identify and cultivate community partners, facilitate board governance items and respond to board and committee directives, coordinate town hall meetings and other mixers to inform and engage downtown businesses, collaborate with multiple entities (Forward Janesville, AriseNow, City of Janesville and Downtown Janesville Inc), identify/secure grants and other funding opportunities and coordinate execution for façade and other downtown improvement.
