GREEN BAY — Five Rock County nonprofit grant recipients were recognized Wednesday by the Green Bay Packers Foundation.

The grants were awarded November and representatives of 257 of the organizations that received grants throughout the state attended the luncheon at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

The Rock County agencies included:

ECHO: Emergency Lodging Program
Rock Family Promise Of Greater Beloit Inc: Helping families facing homelessness
Rock Project 1649 Inc: Transitional Living Program for homeless youth
Rock Webs of Grief: Expanding no-cost grief counseling services through licensed therapists
and implementing open group therapy for multiple age groups
Rock YWCA Rock County: YWCA Alternatives to Violence Program

Grants were awarded to organizations located in 50 of Wisconsin’s 72 counties, with 43 grants going to the elderly, 66 to homelessness, 135 to human services and 77 to hunger.

Specific project/program focus areas by year for the 2023 – 2025 three-year cycle:

  • 2023 – elderly, homelessness, human services, hunger (View the 2023 Grant Recipients with Program Information list here)
  • 2024 – arts and culture, athletics, education 
  • 2025 – animal welfare, civic and community, environmental, health and wellness (including drug/alcohol and domestic violence) View more information about the recipient organizations and their programs
