The owner of O'Riley & Conway's Irish Pub in downtown Janesville is proposing to build a microbrewery and distillery next to it's current location on Milwaukee Street.

JANESVILLE — The owner of O’Riley & Conway’s Irish Pub in downtown Janesville is proposing a brewhouse and distillery next to it’s current location on Milwaukee Street.

The proposal will come before the Janesville Plan Commission Monday, May 6, 2024 at 6 p.m. AGENDA

PROJECT DETAILS

Property owner Joe Quaerna proposes to construct a 4,250 square foot, two-story building addition onto the existing O’Riley and Conway’s Irish Pub, which will house brewing and distilling operations and provide additional seating for the business, according to documents submitted to the plan commission.

The building would be two stories in height and feature a variety of patron seating, brewing/distilling tanks, bar space, and a stage. Additional patron seating space and brewing equipment would be located on the second-floor mezzanine.

Site improvements include demolition and reconstruction of the existing parking lot on
the site. The parking lot would be reconfigured to have 15 parking stalls.
