JANESVILLE — The Janesville Police Department has hired four police officers who were sworn in during a ceremony on June 3, 2024.
 
Officer Logan W. Carlson graduated from Janesville Craig High School and attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point before joining the Marines. He will be attending the Fox Valley Technical College Police Academy in June 2024. Officer Carlson recently worked for his own company Beneficial Insulation.
 
Officer Casey R. Colleran is from Pinegrove, Illinois. He graduated from Lincoln College of Technology with a degree in Automotive Technology. He graduated from Illinois Law Enforcement Training Board as a County Correctional Officer, and he graduated from Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Training Center as a Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer.  Officer Colleran recently worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago.
 
Officer Luke A. Roca of Janesville graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. He will be attending the Fox Valley Technical College Police Academy in June 2024. Officer Roca recently worked for Scooter’s Coffee.
 
Officer Paul A. Schellingburger Jr. is from Rockford, Illinois. He attended Tennessee Tech University and Middle Tennessee State University. He is currently attending Purdue University Global. He also served in the Army. He will be attending the Fox Valley Technical College Police Academy in June 2024. Officer Schellingburger recently worked for 3L Logistics as a FedEx Delivery Driver.
