JANESVILLE — The Janesville Police Department today announced that K-9 Maui, along with handler Detective Jeff Winiarski, have finished training and are now at work.
Maui is an electronic storage detection canine, able to assist with investigations that require the detection of electronics such as internet crimes against children, missing persons stalking/invasion of privacy and financial investigations.
When Maui isn’t working, he is a typical yellow Lab. He is just over 2 years old and enjoys greeting everyone he meets, according to the department.
