ROCK COUNTY — An Elkhorn woman was arrested Monday following a three-month investigation by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office into a crash that killed four people.
Lexus D. Boedecker, 24, Elkhorn, faces four possible counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle – controlled substance, one count of operating with a detectable amount of a controlled substance, two counts of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle-controlled substance.

That’s when Rock County deputies, Jefferson County deputies, Whitewater Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol along with several fire / EMS agencies responded to a three-vehicle crash at Highway 12 and East County Line Road in Lima Township, Rock County.
An adult man and two adult women died at the scene of the crash. A third adult woman passed away days later from injuries sustained from crash, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Boedecker was taken into custody with the assistance of the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, according to a news release.
Boedecker was transported to the Rock County Jail and has a future court date on Aug. 26 at 1 p.m.
