JANESVILLE — Janesville police are investigating after someone fired multiple shots through the window of the Masonic Center on the city’s east side.

According to a news release, Janesville police officers were called about 2:45 a.m. Sunday to the intersection of E Milwaukee St and N Sumac Dr where someone said they heard shots fired.

The reporting person told dispatch they heard multiple sets of rounds being fired approximately 15 minutes prior to calling dispatch.  
 
Officers located multiple windows with bullet holes at the Masonic Center 2322 W Milwaukee St.

No one was injured, and bullets were recovered that struck the Masonic Temple. No arrests have been made at this time.
 
The reporting person saw a man near the intersection of Sumac and Milwaukee approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. The subject was wearing a dark long-sleeved top and dark-colored pants.
