JANESVILLE — Center Avenue in Janesville is expected to reopen to traffic Friday at 9 a.m.
Current Construction Operations:
- Electrical crews are configuring the traffic signals and pedestrian push buttons.
- Final touch up landscaping items are being taken care of.
- The last of the signs have been installed.
- Final clean up items are being taken care of before the road can open. There will be a few punch list items to take care of after the road is open. There will be no disruption to Center Ave traffic flow to complete these items.
Upcoming Construction Operations (Week of 11/18/2024):
- Isolated areas have punch list items that need to be addressed. Any crews that will be on site will access from the side streets. No disruption to Center Avenue traffic will be needed to complete these items.
- Observation of the traffic signals will take place to make sure there aren’t any kinks to work out with timing.
Traffic Updates:
- The roadway will be open tomorrow, Friday November 15. This is the original contract completion date. The anticipated opening timeframe is around 9am.
