JANESVILLE — The Tour of America’s Dairyland has announced that the annual cycling series will kick off once again in Janesville.

The Janesville Town Square Gran Prix will take place on Thursday June 19, 2025. The tour visits 10 cities in 11 days, ending June 29 in Wauwatosa.

The course will be the same as last year, on parts of Milwaukee, Water, Court, and Jackson streets downtown.

Last year, more than 3,000 spectators cheered on about 500 racers from 44 states.

The tour is the largest competitive road cycling series in the U.S. It hosts 11 straight days of racing throughout Southeast Wisconsin. The tour was started in 2009 and extends the legacy of multi-day bike racing that first started in Wisconsin in 1969.
