JANESVILLE — The City of Janesville Recreation Division invites the community to hop down to the Dawson Softball Complex (920 Beloit Avenue) on Saturday, April 12, 2025 for this year’s egg hunt featuring over 15,000 eggs.
The gate to the complex open at 10 a.m. with the party starting with a live DJ, Selfie Stations, Bunny Pictures and a Bunny Hope and Line Dance Lesson in the East Field from 10 to 10:15 a.m.
The field gates will open at 10:15 a.m. with each ball diamond dedicated to a specific age group. The egg hunts for each age group will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m.
- South Field, Sponsored by Advia Credit Union: Ages 0-4
- West Field, Sponsored by SSM Health: Ages 5-8
- North Field Sponsored by Aten Orthodontics: Ages 9-12
At 11:15 a.m. a Sensory Friendly egg hunt, sponsored by the Friends of Riverside Park and the City of Janesville Recreation Division, will take place in the East Field.
Participants will be able to collect treat-filled eggs or other surprises, with the chance to find one of the golden eggs, hidden in each field, that unlocks even bigger, better, prizes!
Attendees are encouraged to get in the spring spirit by wearing festive attire and bringing their egg baskets. A concession stand will be available. An adult must accompany children attending the event.
The Janesville Egg Hunt is free and open to the public.
