JANESVILLE — A new venue featuring the classic arcade claw game is opening this weekend on Janesville’s east side.
Goodtimes Clawcade is located at 2612 East Milwaukee St. in the strip mall down from Blackhawk Community Credit Union.
So what is Goodtimes Clawcade? In a social media post, they describe themselves as:
- A place for families and friends to hang out, play a few games, and have a good time together. They currently have over 20 claw machines filled with plush animals, toys, trading cards.and novelty items. They also have a boxing machine and a handful of video games and intend to add more games over the next few months including air hockey.
- Family friendly
- Colorful and fun
- No alcohol sold
They are using a token system to start out. Games are all in the 1 to 4 token/play range with the average being 2 tokens/play.
Birthday parties will be an option soon along with Lego sales, a trade up program and tournaments, according to the post.
Goodtimes Clawcade will be opening up this weekend and is putting together a Grand Opening celebration in the middle of November.
