JANESVILLE — A proposal before Janesville’s Plan Commission Monday seeks to add to a subdivision on Janesville’s far south side that would include a mix of 87 duplexes and single family homes.

The project is planned for property located along that the Highway 11 bypass, north of Avalon Road, just west of Oakhill.

The Keenland Third Addition proposes to create a total of 87 single and two-family residential lots from 37.16 acres of land, according to a staff memo included in the agenda.

The applicant inends to subdivide the property for low density residential development.

Surrounding land includes prior phases of the Keeneland subdivision to the west, MacFarlane Pheasants
across Highway 11 to the north, existing low-density residential to the south, and existing agricultural/low density residential use to the east.

The Plan Commission meeting begins at 6 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 18 North Jackson Street.
