CLINTON — The village of Clinton is urging residents to boil their water after the Clinton Water Utility experienced a major water main break Saturday, causing the water system to lose water pressure, according to a notice from the Village.
As a result of the water pressure loss, the village issued a boil water notice to all Clinton water customers until further notice as a precaution.
This notice will be in effect until the village is able to submit water samples to ensure the water is acceptable to drink.
The village urges people to talk to their doctors if anyone has symptoms that they think may be from drinking water.
