ROCK COUNTY — The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two people were found dead Friday in a rural home south of Evansville.
According to a news release, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office was sent Dec. 26 for a welfare check in the 2300 block of N. Marsh Rd. in the Town of Magnolia.
Deputies arrived on scene and received no answer at the residence.
When they entered, deputies say they discovered what appeared to be two adults dead inside the home.
This is an ongoing investigation by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau and the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office, and there is no further information at this time.
There is no threat to the public, according to the sheriff’s office.
