FULTON — The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was shot in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day.
According to a news release, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office was called about 1 a.m. New Year’s morning for a person with a gunshot wound in the 300 block of E Samuelson Dr, Town of Fulton.
Rock County Deputies along with Lakeside Fire-Rescue, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Edgerton Police Department, arrived on scene and located an adult man who had a gunshot wound. The man was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
His condition has not been released.
This incident remains under investigation and there is no threat to the general public.
