JANESVILLE — Greg Wallendal and Declan Boran-Ragotzy are this year’s inductees to the Rock County Arts Hall of Fame.

The Janesville Performing Arts Center will host the annual UAA Rock County event on Jan. 13, 2026, in its Gallery Theater.

“Both Greg and Declan have provided an incredible wealth of knowledge to the arts community in Rock County. Their work as educators and directors is impactful and powerful.” said JPAC Executive Director, Nathan Burkart in a news release.

Wallendal is a drama teacher at Beloit Memorial High School and has been part of many different organizational projects over the years, including being the director for JPAC’s outdoor Shakespeare hosted on the Rock County Historical Society Grounds the past 5+ years.

Boran-Ragotzy is an educator, arts leader, and disability-rights activist dedicated to building creative spaces where ever y body and every mind belong. 

As program director of No Limits, he leads one of Wisconsin’s most inclusive dance and arts initiatives, empowering children and adults with disabilities to express themselves through movement, storytelling, and performance.

His work has earned statewide recognition, including a Citation of Commendation for advancing equal rights and championing dignity, access, and representation.

The ceremony is free to the general public but JPAC will be taking $10 suggested donations during the event, for anyone who would like to contribute to the organization’s growth.
