ROCK COUNTY — Three members of the Rock County Fury co-op high school girls hockey team have been named finalists for Wisconsin Prep Hockey awards.

Emma Kligora, a senior forward from Milton is a finalist for the Jinelle Siergiej Award, presented annually to the state’s top forward.

Anna Cole, a Craig High School senior forward, is a finalist for for the the Rachel Kenyon Unsung Hero Award.

Generally this isn’t going to be a player who lights up the scoresheet, or shuts down the opposing team with stunning regularity.

This is a player who fights through adversity and with grit and determination makes their team and program better.

The Stars advanced to the sectional semifinal in this year’s hockey playoffs, before falling 4-3 to top-seeded De Pere.

The Wisconsin Prep Hockey Awards will be presented on Friday, March 1, 20204 at the Marriot Madison West near Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Arena.
