UPDATE: The body discovered Sunday in an abandoned town of Turtle home is that of Christopher Miller, who had been missing since he ran off in November following a traffic stop in Janesville, according to WKOW TV.
At the time, the Wisconsin State Patrol said Miller crashed into a traffic light and continued driving until his car became disabled on Interstate 39/90 near Avalon Road. The State Patrol said Miller then got out and ran away. They identified him as 27-year-old Christopher Miller of Fitchburg.

TURTLE TOWNSHIP — A death investigation is under way after a tipster notified authorietes about a dead body in an abandoned home in the town of Turtle.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office in a news release said the tipster called them shortly after noon Sunday.
Deputies were then sent to the home where they found the body inside.
Rock County Sheriff’s Office detectives and investigators from the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to coordinate the death investigation.
As of Monday afternoon, efforts were under way by the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the dead person.
The sheriff’s office says they don’t believe there is any danger to the public.
More information will be released as the investigation progresses, according to the news release.
