JANESVILLE — A popular candy store in downtown Janesville will be on the move nearby to a bigger location.
Sugar Exchange owner Courtney Perakis made the announcement Friday on social media.
“There are so many good things coming. We are so excited to bring this to you,” she said in a video.
The store is expected to relocate to 113 W. Milwaukee St. early in 2024, Perakis said.
The new store will be across the street from the planned Children’s Museum of Rock County.
The Sugar Exchange opened in 2021 at 119 N. Main St. in the Bodacious Shops block downtown.
Perakis said the new space will have room for an event space for events like showers and birthday parties.
They plan to offer coffee and tea in the morning as well as adding bulk candy.
