JANESVILLE — The Salvation Army Rock County will be distributing donations to residents impacted by the June 22 tornado this coming week, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Residents in need of food, water, and other storm-related items should visit the Salvation Army of Rock County at 514 Sutherland Avenue.
City crews have completed their first round of collecting tree and brush debris from last month’s tornado. They will be performing additional curbside collection based on the schedule below for the week of July 8:
Tripp Rd. Zone – Monday, July 8
Secretariat Dr. Zone – Tuesday, July 9
West of Center Ave. Zone – Wednesday, July 10
East of Center Ave. Zone – Thursday, July 11
The City will not pick up structural debris, treated lumber, pieces of fence, or other solid waste as part of its response efforts. Residents with this type of debris may visit the City’s Sanitary Landfill.
