The Board of Education for the School District of Janesville approved a contract cost-of-living pay increase of 5.9%.

JANESVILLE — Summer School course enrollment in Janesville begins at 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025.

Online account creation is now open and must be completed before course enrollment. ACCOUNT CREATE

All students who reside within the School District of Janesville’s resident boundaries or are open-enrolled in the district’s P4J-12th grade programs are eligible to participate in Summer School.

Non-resident families can enroll their children on a tuition basis.

Enrollment for SDJ resident students is free, and the non-resident fee is $150 per student (not per course). While some courses might require an additional fee (golf, for example), most of the course offerings are available at no charge to resident families.

Courses that require a fee will state the required amount in the individual course descriptions, which are available via the Summer School Course Handbook on the SDJ website.

Parents must create online Summer School accounts prior to being able to enroll their children in Summer School courses.

Non-resident families can create their online Summer School accounts beginning April 21, 2025.

Note: Families must create new summer school accounts each year.

Popular Summer School offerings such as swim lessons and golf fill up fast, so parents are encouraged to complete online account creation and course enrollment as soon as possible.

Complete details and summer school course descriptions are available through the Summer School website: https://www.janesville.k12.wi.us/departments/summer-school.
