JANESVILLE — Hundreds of “Hands Off” protests will be held across the country Saturday, April 5, including Janesville and Beloit.
JANESVILLE

BELOIT
Time: 11 a.m. to noon

The protests target President Donald Trump and his controversial billionaire adviser Elon Musk.
According to a statement from national organizers, “Hands Off” is a “national day of action” that will bring members of Congress, community leaders and “everyday people” together to “call on Trump and Elon Musk to take their hands off the programs that the middle class and working families rely on.”
Organizers throughout the state say the mass mobilization day is their message to the world that people do not consent to the destruction of government and the economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies.
Alongside Americans across the country, local residents will be marching, rallying and protesting to demand a stop to the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of the country.
