JANESVILLE — Holiday light season is in full swing in Janesville with many spectacular displays throughout town.
But two homes in particular are worth adding to your Christmas drive route, and they’re also collecting money for good causes.
First, get into the Christmas spirit with a tour of this historic Victorian home built in 1896, all decked out for the holidays.
Over 15 uniquely decorated Christmas trees adorn this home, along with a room-sized Christmas village display, a North Pole display complete with Santa’s Village and vintage decor throughout.
This family event is free, but donations to Friends of Noah are encouraged.
The home is located at 103 N. Chatham Street on Janesville’s west side, and remaining tour dates are Dec. 21, 22, 23, 29 and 30, 2023.
Now in its 17th year, the Striegel home is decorated with 20,000 lights synchronized to music.
Tune your radio to 90.9FM to listen in your warm car as the lights outside twinkle to the music.
The show is free, but they will accept donations for the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin.
Enjoy the lights now through January 1, 2023 (Sunday-Thursday, 5-9 PM, Friday & Saturday, 5-10 PM)
The Striegel Home is located at 3767 Stone Ridge Dr. on Janesville’s far west side.
