JANESVILLE — A Janesville man is accused of firing a bullet at an outside door of Craig High School shortly after noon Sunday.
According to a news releae, damage was discovered about 12:15 p.m. Sunday to the glass in one of the exterior doors at Craig High School.
The damage and evidence collected were consistent with a bullet striking the door.
The investigation led to the discovery of a suspect who was taken into custody Thursday evening.
The suspect is being held at the Rock County Jail pending his initial court appearance.
There is currently no known threat to the school community or the broader community, police say.
This investigation is ongoing, and no additional information will be released at this time.
