JANESVILLE — For the past 11 years, Jeff’s Kitchen has welcomed hungry diners to its restaurant at the top of the Memorial Bridge in Janesville.
But on Sunday, owner Jeffrey Navarro announced he had closed the doors for the last time.
Here’s their final message to customers posted to social media:
The time has come. After 11 years in business, starting as a small coffee shop and growing into a full service restaurant, we have closed our doors for the last time. It has been a wild ride and worth every second of it! But, as happens in life, other things come up and it’s time to move on. So, for all the support and kindness you have given us, I thank you.
I have had the great fortune of working with some amazing people and none of this would have been possible without them. The staff put in a lot of time, hard work, and passion and it made a difference. I sincerely thank them.
And of course, the people who supported us by coming in and giving us a try. There truly would be no restaurant without you. Thank you for giving us a try, for trying some of our unique food and letting me know what you thought of it! Every cook wants to please the people they are creating for and I am humbled that so many of you let us do that for you. Thank you.
As is always the case, there are opportunities ahead, so keep your eyes open and don’t be surprised when you see us again! Thank you!
Jeffrey Navarro.
