JANESVILLE — A Janesville man is facing two counts of attempted first degree intentional homicide after police say he drove into and injured one of two motorized bike riders who were riding together.
According to a Janesville Police Deaartment news release, officers were sent shortly after midnight May 12 to a hit-and-run crash near Pine Tree Plaza on the city’s northeast side.
Police say two people on motorized bikes were traveling in the area when a gray Ford Taurus struck one of the riders, causing significant injuries.
The driver of the Taurus fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The suspect vehicle was eventually located and after reviewing evidence gathered from the scene, investigators determined that the crash appeared to be intentional.
Today, the driver of the vehicle, Kade Larson, 30, was arrested and taken into custody
He faces possibly two counts of Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide and one count of Hit and Run—Causing Great Bodily Injury.
He is currently being held at the Rock County Jail pending his initial court appearance.
