JANESVILLE — The victim who suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting June 17 in Janesville died Monday morning, the Janesville Police Department announced.

The person’s identity is expected to be released by the Rock County Medical Examiner.

Police say the shooter opened fire on three others before turning the gun on themself.

The Rock County Medical Examiner identified the three pronounced dead at the scene as Julia Cvicker, 25; Jahvarius Wicks, 21 and Scott Roberts, 55, all of Janesville.

Authorities say the Rock County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting gunshots at about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Aspen Square Apartments on Janesville’s east side.

As police entered the complex, they discovered one unresponsive adult in the doorway of an apartment with a visible gunshot wound.

As officers continued towards the apartment, they found three additional adults with visible gunshot wound injuries inside the apartment, according to police.

Officers and medical personnel provided immediate care, resulting in one person being transported to a medical facility where they died Monday.

The three others suffering gunshot wounds were pronounced dead at the scene.

This stems from a domestic relationship between two of the individuals involved, police say.

Notably, police say, no children were present in the apartment at the time of the incident.

During this process, officers uncovered evidence, including a firearm, found near one of the deceased individuals.
