FULTON — An ATV driver died Wednesday in Fulton after crashing their vehicle and being hit by a passing truck.
According to a news relesse, multiple agencies responded at about 10 p.m. Wednesday to a traffic crash with injuries in the 8500 block of N
County Highway F in the Town of Fulton.
Investigators say an ATV was traveling north on F when the driver lost control and was ejected, coming to rest in the northbound lane of traffic.
The driver of a northbound truck towing a trailer came upon the crash scene and was unable to avoid striking the ATV driver who was still lying in the roadway.
The ATV driver was pronounced dead on scene by the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The name of the deceased will be released on a later date by the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The investigation remains under investigation by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, but at this time nothing criminal is suspected.
Personnel from the Lakeside Fire Department, City of Edgerton Police Department also responded.
