JANEAVILLE — A Janesville woman has been identified as the pedestrian who died following a motor vehicle accident Nov. 18 in Janesville.
The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department identified the woman as 65-year-old Susanne Eddy of Janesville, Wisconsin.
According to a news release, the incident occurred near the intersection of East Milwaukee Street and Suffolk Drive and was reported to authorities around 5 p.m.
Eddy was pronounced dead at a local hospital on Nov. 28, 2025.
A forensic examination was completed on Nov. 29, 2025.
Preliminary results from the examination confirmed that Eddy died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Additional testing is currently underway.
The incident remains under investigation by the Janesville Police Department and the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department.
