JANESVILLE — The 97th annual Rock County 4-H Fair features the theme “Christmas in July” and runs from July 28 to August 2, 2026, at the Rock County Fairgrounds located in Janesville.
Dates, Admission, and Daily Specials
- Dates & Hours: July 28 – August 2, 2026; gates open daily at 8:00 AM.
- Opening Day (July 28): 2-for-1 admission deal ($10 for all ages).
- First Responder Day (July 29): Free admission for law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS personnel.
- Senior & Veterans Day (July 30): $7 admission for seniors age 62 and older; free admission for anyone with a military or VA ID.
New Attractions & Special Events
Live Grandstand & Stage Highlights: Featuring the Fairest of the Fair (July 28), Rock County Idol (July 29), Bella Cain (July 30), Drew Baldridge (July 31), and a performance by the UW Marching Band on August 2.
Agri-Golf: A new interactive miniature golf course focused on agriculture education.
Swifty Swine: Entertaining pig races where the animals hustle to the finish line for an Oreo reward.
Christmas Tree Contest: A festive display featuring decorated trees entered by local individuals, businesses, and organizations.
