MADISON — Appeals Court Judge Chris Taylor has been projected to win the election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, defeating fellow Appeals Court Judge Maria Lazar.
The victory for the liberal-leaning Taylor expands the liberal majority on the state’s highest court to 5-2. Taylor will serve a 10-year term, filling the seat vacated by retiring conservative Justice Rebecca Bradley.
