JANESVILLE — Steve’s Deli Dog House is set to reopen a restaurant location, this time in Janesville’s Five Points intersection downtown.
A recent social media post shows how the new storefront could look with the message, “You asked for it!!! Lease is signed opening soon.”
Most recently operating as a food truck, they are known for serving Chicago-style comfort food—including authentic hot dogs, Italia00pmn beef sandwiches, fresh-cut fries and wraps.
Steve Burdick originally established the local storefront eatery in the 1990s, the business operated for years near the Washington Street/Memorial Bridge area before relocating to Parker Drive in downtown Janesville.
Work is ongoing at the new location inside Five Points Beverage and Convenience, but an ooening date has not yet been announced.
