JANESVILLE — A new Buffalo Wild Wings takeout and delivery location is coming to Janesville’s south side.
Called Buffalo Wild Wings GO, it will be located at 1905 Center Avenue, in the same strip mall as the Baskin-Robbins/Dunkin’ Donuts.
A grand opening is set for May 9, with the first 50 people getting free wings for a year. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m.
The Buffalo Wild Wings GO business model represents a strategic shift from large-scale “experience-based” sports bars to a streamlined, off-premise-focused format. This model is designed to capture the growing demand for delivery and takeout while significantly lowering operational costs.
Buffalo Wild Wings Go exploded by nearly 60%, to 219 locations, from 140, according to Restaurant Business.
Franchisees opened 104 new stores, while the company closed 11 corporate stores and sold 14 to franchisees. BWW Go grew particularly fast in Illinois, Texas and New York.
